Darkness is a very multifaceted thing to experience. It can induce quiet, fear, peace, tranquility and much more.

It all depends on your expectation and memories. Explore the surrounding and figure out where you are and what is there.

The current version is static, but with growing items to find. The next version will also have random spawning positions. 

Meaning, on the next play through things will be in a different location, so the same actions won't work again.
