Time to Unite...or Code to Unity...
Currently I'm reworking the game's backend. I have worked in Ren'Py, but some of the things I am used to be able to do within several minutes in Unity just takes too much reworking by mind in it.
I am currently creating a new engine that runs within Unity and though it will take me a couple of weeks to get it fully functional to the level that represents the Ren'Py abilities, it will improve the development in the long run. Remember, this game will be a development of likely 1.5 years. Chapters 1 to 5 coming out in 2024 (even with the rework on the engine) and chapter 6 to 8 possibly this year, but more realistically Q2 2025. Additionally, after the creation of the first Episode (which is chapters 1 to 8/9), it depends on the revenue and interest whether the chapters 9/10 to 18 will follow immediately.
